Ntounias Farm is more than just a place where we grow vegetables and raise animals. It is the heart of our philosophy – living in harmony with nature, taking only the best it has to offer, and sharing it with our guests. We believe that true cuisine is created with respect for the land, tradition, and age-old cooking methods.
That’s why you won’t find processed products, artificial additives, or modern kitchen appliances here. Everything on your plate comes directly from our farm or from local farmers we have known for years. Here, everything begins with the earth, the sun, and a deep love for the traditional Cretan way of life.
On our farm, we grow vegetables organically, without artificial fertilizers or pesticides. We rely on natural farming methods, allowing our tomatoes, zucchinis, eggplants, and aromatic herbs to flourish just as our grandparents cultivated them for generations.
Our animals live freely, without stress, in harmony with their surroundings. They enjoy fresh air and natural food. Our hens lay fresh, free-range eggs that go straight to our kitchen, while the milk from our goats and sheep allows us to make the finest homemade cheeses and yogurts. We ensure that everything we serve in our tavern comes from trusted, natural sources – straight from the Cretan land.
