Workshops

 

Booking

Workshops can be booked using the online form available on our website (link). All follow-up communication will take place via email or phone, in Greek or English only. A booking is considered confirmed after direct communication and agreement with our team.

Price

Prices start from €20 per person for groups of more than 6 people. Pricing may vary depending on the season, the farm activities available during the visiting period, and the number of participants.

Final prices are always confirmed in advance. Please contact us for detailed pricing or customized experiences.

Payment

Payment is made on-site, at the time of the workshop.

We accept credit/debit cards and cash.

Euro currency only.

Cancellation

Cancellations can be made at any time without financial penalty.

We kindly ask guests to inform us as early as possible in case of cancellation, as late notice may prevent other visitors from joining our workshops. We trust in good faith and mutual respect.

What’s included

Depending on the season and workshop program, activities may include:

  • Farm exploration

  • Garden walk-through

  • Participation in agricultural tasks

  • Collecting fresh eggs

  • Feeding and caring for animals

  • Farming, cropping, milking, and tonsure

  • Vineyard visit (seasonal)

  • Winery visit and wine tasting

  • Visiting traditional breeders’ houses and cheese production

  • Harvesting vegetables

  • Picking wild herbs

  • Visiting bee farms and honey tasting

  • Observation of traditional farming and animal husbandry techniques

  • Cooking lesson

  • Shared traditional meal

Additional Activities (Upon Request)

  • Trekking

  • Caving

  • Canyoning

 

These activities are offered privately or in small groups and may involve local professional guides.

 

Language

Workshops are conducted in Greek and English.

Number of people

We welcome:

  • Couples (minimum group of two people)

  • Groups of up to 20 participants

 

Individual visitors or larger groups are welcome upon prior arrangement. Please contact us so we can design a personalized experience for you

Age of participants

Visitors of all ages are welcome.

 

Please note that the farm is located on a hillside and includes uneven and steep paths, which may be challenging for elderly visitors or very young participants. Upon request, we are happy to prepare adapted activities suitable for different age groups or physical abilities. Please inform us of any concerns at the time of booking.

Duration

Workshop duration varies depending on the season, weather conditions, activities planned, and the physical abilities of participants.

On average, visitors should plan to spend approximately 2-4 hours at the farm.

 

Health & Safety

Ntounias Educational Farm is a working farm with outdoor activities, animals, tools, and uneven terrain.

 

Participation in workshops is at the visitor’s own responsibility.

 

Guests are required to follow staff instructions at all times to ensure safety for themselves, others, and the animals.

Medical Conditions & Allergies

Participants must inform us in advance of any:

  • Food allergies or dietary restrictions

  • Medical conditions or mobility limitations

 

Meals are traditional, seasonal, and prepared with fresh farm ingredients.

 

Liability

Ntounias Educational Farm cannot be held responsible for:

  • Personal injury

  • Accidents

  • Loss or damage of personal belongings

 

Except in cases of gross negligence. Participation implies acceptance of the natural risks involved in rural and farm-based activities.

 

Children Responsibility

Parents or legal guardians are fully responsible for supervising children at all times during the workshop.

 

Weather & Force Majeure

Workshops may be modified, shortened, postponed, or adapted due to weather conditions or unforeseen natural events. In such cases, alternative activities may be offered, but no financial compensation is guaranteed.

 

Photography & Media

Photographs or videos may be taken during workshops for promotional or communication purposes.
Guests who do not wish to appear in such material should inform us in advance.

 

Transportation

Ntounias Farm is located in Keramion, Nerokouros, Chania, near Drakona village.

 

By car

From Chania, follow the route south toward Drakona village. In Drakona, take the turn toward Theriso. Ntounias Farm is located less than one kilometer from the crossroads.

 

By bus

There is no direct public transportation to the farm.

 

Private transportation

Upon request, private transportation from Chania can be arranged through partner companies. Please contact us for further information.

Accessibility

While we continuously improve our facilities, we currently cannot offer full accessibility for wheelchair users.


The farm includes:

  • Steep and uneven paths

  • Limited accessibility areas

 

A ramp and an accessible toilet are under development.

 

For visitors with limited mobility, we can design alternative activities that remain equally meaningful. Please inform us in advance so we can accommodate your needs.

Privacy & Data Protection

Personal data collected through bookings is used solely for communication and workshop organization purposes. Data is not shared with third parties and is handled in accordance with GDPR regulations. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by Greek law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Greek courts.
